A Girlz Story......

It certainly is! First of all..... a couple of shout outs. Welcome Alma! Another follower and I'm so thankful. And a big shout out to my friend Monique. She's recovering from a little somethin' somethin' and I want to wish you a speedy one!
My bestest friend Marla came over and I used her as a guinea pig with the stampmaker. She's doing a scrapbook for a friend's new baby girl and wanted to personalize it. She had never seen the machine so I wanted to show everyone how easy it was for a beginner. She designed her own stamp, printed the negative and we went to work making it. Well, as you can see, not really working.....we always have fun when we get together. Just one though. ;)  Enjoy your Saturday everyone. So far, it's beautiful and sunny here (I need to wash my windows!) but I hear the rain is coming in.

Workin' it!

Marla has a great classy style and it shows in her design

The Finished Product......I love it!

My First Business Project

Happy Monday Everyone:
Remember a few weeks ago, I was sitting on the porch???? Forget that now. It's freezing!
I'm excited to share a stamp I made for a small business in Folsom, Ca. The shop is a really cool ladies boutique and if you get a chance to stop by, you won't be disappointed. Here's their website.... Kissed Good Buy . It was a surprise gift for the owners so I had a heck of a time trying to find the font they used for their logo. But it was fun, they loved it and commissioned me for some other stamps and my first stencil. I'm going to use the stencil to etch shot glasses with their logos. I'll share that when it's done. Here's the pics and I am so grateful to all of you for supporting  me. I'm having so much fun with the stamp maker.

Happy Spring! (Sort Of)

Good Morning Everyone!
As you can see, I had my #1 fan
with me the whole time. Scout LOVES
 everything I make.

I wanted to share what I did yesterday. I had a bit of a free day. Well, really I should have been cleaning house but what the H, it's not going anywhere. The weather was so beautiful, I thought I'd drag a little table on the porch and do a little V-day stuff. Here's my work station....... I needed a little sunshine so I sat out there and crafted away. It was so warm, I started with a sweatshirt on and that didn't last long. Finally had to bring out the sunglasses. Try sunin' and scrappin' (I just made that up!) sometime, it's really relaxing. OH....... and the project I made will be out this week!

The "Little" Bucket List

Hi Y'all:
I'm posting a little project that I think you'll really like. I created the "Little" Bucket List for all the things I want to get done someday. I truly can't keep track of all my lists.
I thought this would be a great time to clean out all the stuff I have and didn't purchase 1 extra thing for this project (yeh me!). See what you can find hidden away that you forgot about! I'm finding some great ideas for the bucket list theme and I'll be making more of these, that's for sure. Why not a chore bucket or a prize bucket for the kids? When I'm at a loss for what to create, I'm going to reach in and grab one and just do it! OR.......    put it back and grab another one. :) Enjoy!
How do you like the new blog????? I'm learning!

I'm trying this picture format, tell me if you can see everything ok. I cut little stripes of cardstock and inked them up, punched a hole and then started writing little things to do. I purchased a small picture hanger and glued it to the outside of the bucket for the blank ones. I love this little bucket........

Good Morning All

And.... Happy New Year!  A little late I know..... I have been so busy with work and the kids, I haven't had a moment to blog....but I'm back. Yeh! Nick's car died and we've been frantically trying to find him one and Kathryn is full force into wrestling (She takes stats for her high school). We traveled to Anderson (what a cute town). I spent one full day at the tourney and the next day at my sister-in-law's house visiting. BTW..... She makes fabulous bracelets and I hope to post some of them soon. It was really nice just to relax and catch up with her.
So...... Back to crafting....... I have a little project going that I think you all like...... I started thinking of everything that I need to do and truly became overwhelmed. Instead of making another list (I have a ton and then I can't find them.) I decided I needed a "Little Bucket List". I can't wait to share, it's almost done. This week, I promise. I am also working on getting a class together for this project and I'll let you know the details soon.
Enough already! Have a great day and thanks for reading my blog.
